Here's what to expect from our exclusive 3 phase service:
1. Design Plan Phase
Project Kickoff Meeting: Review and sign LOA, we’ll measure and conduct an idea session
Windland Design organizes and conducts A "Trade Day"
Develop a “Design Concept Presentation” with detailed floor plan(s) drawn to-scale
Create a custom color story for the space
Complete a lighting plan
Conceptual style and accessory plan
Up to two detailed renderings of the space complete with furnishings, lighting, window treatments, etc.
Detailed Design Plan specifications including construction documents if needed
Furniture Sourcing Plan with our trusted vendors
Comprehensive budget to complete the space
Local resource list (if project is in central Iowa)
A detailed “Design Plan Presentation” articulating the actual furnishings and textiles we recommend for your space(s), Including to-scale drawings and renderings, Including a custom color story for the space(s)
2. Procurement/Build Phase
Design Plan Approval: product approval sign off and furnishings payment in full
Windland Design orders all furnishings and products on your behalf
Detailed schedule creation for installation
Construction and renovation management
Organized logistics tracking and problem solving including scheduling deliveries and receiving products as they arrive
Project troubleshooting and problem solving
Style Plan creation and presentation
3. Completion Phase
Final installation planning
Project troubleshooting and problem solving
Reveal Day prep
Accessory and style plan prep and organization
Delivery, installation and Reveal Day
Photo shoot day
Final walk through
